Senior Acquisition Logistician

Location: Aberdeen, MD
We are seeking a Senior Logistician to support a newly awarded contract in Aberdeen, MD. Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.

Qualified candidate will need to have experience in life cycle logistic support of an Army Acquisition Category 1 Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) system.  Will have experience in all phases of logistic support as outlined in AR 700-142 and 700-127. Will have developed and implemented Product Support program activities including; Integrated logistic support, Technical Manual development, Reliability Availability, and Maintainability (RAM), Supportability & Maintenance planning.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and support on Army Acquisition Product Support to junior logisticians
  • Ability to brief senior leadership on status as it relates to Cost, Schedule and Performance
  • Ability to identify Risk and develop Mitigation Strategy
  • Ability for long range Product Support planning
  • Provide management, customers, and contractors with basic logistics technology and information that ensures effective and economical support for products, service, equipment and systems.
  • Determines support requirements including facilities, personnel, safety, supply, transportation, maintenance and services.
  • Directs and coordinates program activities designed to ensure effective and efficient economic logistics support.
  • Analyzes and evaluates design concepts to determine if concepts satisfy support requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of the Type Classification and Material Release process.
  • Experience in development of Technical Manuals and Product Support documentation
  • Experience in Planning and Execution of Logistics Demonstrations and Test.
  • Anticipates logistics problems related to operational area and environmental and human factors.
  • Determines contingency requirements and solutions.
  • Design and conduct research or technical studies to support logistic functions.
  • Develop Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data (BOIPFD)
  • Develop Transportability plans for vehicular systems.
